Working with our partners, we want to redefine what it means to be an ethical business. We believe that doing good in the world cannot be the exclusive domain of NGOs. That’s why we’re a business ourselves. Our projects prove you can be a force of change and thrive as a result.
Improving Human Rights
In 2016, BOTZ was asked to advise Tchibo on their ground-breaking human rights program. Tchibo’s WE Program is a dialogue-based program, aimed at enhancing human rights in their supply chain. It had run a successful pilot phase but suffered while scaling from 40 to 400 factories. BOTZ was asked to partner with Tchibo’s CSR-department to strengthen the program’s fundamentals, ensure its innovative nature and take it to the next level.
Facilitating Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives
ACT is an agreement between global brands and Industrial Global Union in pursuit of living wages for workers in textile and garment supply chains. It aims to achieve living wages for workers in the global garment industry through collective bargaining at industry level. To be successful, it required a transformative approach from all stakeholders. BOTZ was the lead facilitator of this initiative, right up until its transition into a foundation.
Making Sustainability a Brand Issue
The increasing use of plastic bottles was threatening Tetra Pak’s market share. As in most companies, sustainability was considered a relatively minor business issue. BOTZ reframed the company’s commitment to renewables and secured sustainability in its brand positioning.
